Rhodius, V. A. et al. Design of orthogonal genetic switches based on a crosstalk map of σs, anti‐σs, and promoters. Mol. Syst. Biol. 9, 702 (2013).
In this publication, Rhodius and colleagues characterize a large range of extra-cytoplasmic function (ECF) sigma factors, cognate promoters and proteins that repress those ECF factors (anti-sigmas). Although the use of anti-sigmas on circuits have swown to enhance dynamic range, this dynamic hasn't been characterized as extensively as with just the activators, so is not reported here. The systems chosen for this repository were the ones reported to function orthogonally.
There is a patent claiming the circuits developed, but not the sequences temselves.
