Insulators

Sequences designed to stop interference of promoter and coding sequence parts to RBS translation rates.

While Endy Lab's BCDs isolate RBSs from both promoter and CDS interference, the Voigt Lab's insulators do so only for promoter interference. The measure of effectiveness of these parts would be an "amount of insulation", but the authors decided instead to only have demonstrations that all insulators are sufficiently effective.
